VenueGather is a free venue-matching service for hosts planning weddings, quinceañeras, corporate events, parties, and cultural or religious celebrations across the United States. We are not a venue, caterer, or event operator.

When you fill out a form, call us, message us, or ask for help, you share information about your event so we can connect you with participating venues that may fit what you are looking for. You decide which venues to speak with, tour, compare, and book. You should confirm pricing, availability, policies, and everything included directly with the venue and get those details in writing before you pay a deposit.

This privacy policy is a general explanation of our practices. It is not legal advice.

What information we collect

We collect information you choose to provide, along with basic technical information that helps our website work.

Please do not send sensitive financial account information, Social Security numbers, or similar records through our forms, text messages, email, or chat.

- Contact you ourselves by phone, text, or email about your request, including if we need more details to improve your match
- Provide customer support in your preferred language when available
- Improve our forms, website, and matching process
- Measure website traffic, marketing performance, and service quality
- Prevent spam, fraud, abuse, or misuse of our service
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights

We do not use your information to process payment for a venue booking because VenueGather does not book the venue for you. The venue you choose will handle its own contract, pricing, deposit, and event policies directly with you.

Who we share your information with

We share your information only as needed to provide the matching service and run our business.

We may share your information with:
- Participating venues that may be a fit for your event
- Companies that help us operate our website, forms, messaging, analytics, or customer support
- Professional advisers or authorities when required for legal, security, or compliance reasons

When we share your event request with participating venues, those venues may contact you directly by phone, text, or email. Each venue is its own business and has its own privacy practices, pricing, availability, and booking policies. Once your information is shared with a venue, that venue's handling of your information is controlled by its own policies.

We do not sell your bank information or Social Security number because we do not collect that information for venue matching in the first place. We also do not need sensitive records to help you get matched.

If you want fewer venue contacts, tell us when you submit your request or contact us, and we will do our best to help within the limits of the service.

Calls, texts, email, and your choices

When you submit a request, you are asking to be contacted about your event and possible venue matches. That may include phone calls, text messages, and emails from VenueGather and from participating venues.

By providing your phone number and submitting a request, you consent to receive calls and texts related to your inquiry, including follow-up questions, match updates, and responses from participating venues. Consent is not a condition of buying anything because VenueGather's matching service is free to the host.

Your choices
- You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email.
- You can opt out of texts from VenueGather by replying STOP, if that option is available in the message.
- You can ask us not to contact you by calling or contacting us.
- If a participating venue contacts you and you no longer want messages from that venue, tell that venue directly as well.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

Even if you opt out of marketing messages, we may still send limited service messages related to an open request you asked us to process, unless you ask us to stop and we are able to honor that request under applicable law.

Cookies, analytics, and data retention
