VenueGather helps hosts looking for a place to hold an event. You tell us the basics, such as your city, preferred date, guest count, budget range, and the kind of celebration you are planning. That can include a wedding, quinceañera, corporate event, birthday party, anniversary, graduation, family gathering, or a cultural or religious celebration.

We use those details to connect you with participating venues that may fit your needs. You can then review the options, ask questions, schedule tours, compare policies, and decide whether any venue is right for you.

Important: VenueGather is not a venue, a caterer, or an event operator. We do not run your event, hold a date, set pricing, or guarantee availability. Each venue controls its own calendar, packages, rules, and final contract terms.

How the free matching service works

Our role is to help you get introduced to participating venues that may be worth your time.

1. You share your event details through our matching form.
2. We review the basics, like location, guest count, budget range, date, and event type.
3. We match you with participating venues that appear to fit those needs.
4. You speak directly with venues, compare offers, tour spaces, and choose whether to book.

The service is free for hosts. Participating venues pay VenueGather a flat fee to be part of the service. We do not take a percentage of your event cost.

Venue prices vary widely. The real number depends on the date, the city, the guest count, and what is included, such as catering, rentals, staffing, parking, ceremony space, cleanup, or hotel rooms. Any price ranges you see on our site are examples, not quotes. Before paying a deposit, confirm everything in writing with the venue, including:
- rental fee or package price
- food and beverage minimums
- service charges and taxes
- deposit amount and payment schedule
- setup, breakdown, and overtime fees
- cancellation and refund terms
- what is included, and what you must bring separately

Our honesty commitment

VenueGather is meant to be useful, not confusing. We try to make the venue search clearer by explaining how pricing usually works, what questions to ask, and what fine print to check before you commit.

That means we will be direct about a few things:
- we do not promise that a venue is available for your date
- we do not promise a price or hold a room or hall for you
- we do not choose your venue for you, you do
- we do not replace reading the contract carefully

You are the host and decision-maker. You tour, compare, ask for itemized proposals, and confirm details in writing before sending a deposit.

We also keep the information request focused on what is needed to help with matching, such as contact details and event details. We do not need financial account numbers, Social Security numbers, or sensitive personal records to help you start your search.
